In times like these, when you might not know what day it is, it's good to at least punctuate the evening with a special cocktail. For us, the White Russian has it all. It's simple and satisfying with its reassuring milkiness, a hint of sweet, and of course the welcome kick from vodka and kahlua. Made extra famous by The Dude in The Big Lebowski, it's not lost on us that for many these days, dressing gowns and an eclectic mix of leisurewear is common attire. That’s just fine. There’s no dress code required for this tempting tipple.

Ingredients
45ml Vodka
25ml Kahlua
Hazelnut milk blend – pour to your liking, as weak or as strong as you want
To make your own milk
Ingredients:
1/2 cup hazelnuts
1/3 cup of cashew nuts
6 brazil nuts
2 fresh dates
pinch of Celtic sea salt
1 litre of purified water
Soak nuts in purified water the night before. The next morning, blend nuts in a food processor. We like to blend the mixture twice for ultimate consistency. Load blended mixture into a nut milk bag and slowly squeeze milk out.
Pour mixture over ice and grate a little fresh nutmeg over the top. Enjoy!
